The BayStack ethernet SA network management module (SA NMM) with Advanced Analyzer agent offers SNMP management functions to all segments and advanced and SA management functionality for hubs assigned to the same segment as the NMM. The SA NMM supports the Bay networks superRMON extensions to the remote network monitoring (RMON) Management information base (MIB) through an installed data collection module (DCM).

Installation:

A BayStack NMM is installed into the expansion slot on the rear panel of the BayStack hub. SNMP management functionality can be extended to remote hubs in a managed stack through the use of cables connected to the management extension ports on the rear of the hub.
