Features:

The VT520 is a multi-session, text video terminal featuring enhanced keyboard and communications flexibility, providing up to four sessions at a time. Two or more sessions can be assigned to the same communication port when Terminal Device/Session Management Protocol (TD/SMP) is used to multiplex the sessions. Each session has its own framed window, window title, and icon name.

The VT520 has a define key editor that allows you to reprogram any key on the keyboard.

The product has a 25-pin stacked male/female RS-232 connector (EIA-232),two 6-pin EIA-423 (MMJ) connectors, and a Centronics parallel connector. The RS-232 and the EIA-423 ports are used.

The VT520 also has power management features that exceed the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Energy Star requirements for saving energy.
